Teltonika Networks: resilient cellular connectivity at the edge

Teltonika Networks builds industrial routers, gateways and switches designed for places where a consumer device would not survive a week: engine rooms, plant rooms, cabinets on deck, and unmanned energy sites.

Failover that actually fails over

Dual-SIM with automatic switchover, WAN/LTE/Wi-Fi failover priorities and configurable link monitoring mean a site keeps a management path when the primary circuit drops.

For maritime we typically pair a Teltonika router with the vessel's VSAT/LEO service as WAN and cellular as an automatic backup close to shore.

RutOS and remote management

RutOS provides VPN (WireGuard, OpenVPN, IPsec), firewall, QoS and modbus/MQTT support, with RMS for fleet-wide remote configuration, monitoring and firmware rollout.

That remote path is what removes most of the travel from a support contract, a configuration change no longer needs an engineer on board.

Typical YOT builds

RUTX-series routers for crew and guest backup connectivity, TRB gateways for sensor and IoT backhaul, and TSW switches where an industrial-grade, DIN-mounted access layer is required.
