IDEA Data Solutions GmbH and YOT LTD have announced a strategic partnership to deliver an optimised hardware-software ecosystem for yacht management, built around the IDEA-NR100, IDEA-SR100 and IDEA-SR200.

Why the partnership exists

IDEA-SR100
A 1U rack-mountable server, identified as the preferred platform for IDEA YACHT, IDEA FLEET and IDEA GT. Intel Xeon processors, 32GB memory and 480GB RAID 1 storage.
Four Gigabit Ethernet ports plus out-of-band LAN, optional 10G, sliding rails and top access for maintenance, pre-loaded with Windows Server 2025 supporting two concurrent virtual machines.
IDEA-NR100
A compact mini-server for yachts with smaller crews and constrained install locations, Intel Core, 16GB memory, 256GB storage, 2x 2.5G LAN and Wi-Fi 6.
Rated from -40°C to 70°C for 24/7 operation where temperature management is not ideal, and the natural companion to the IDEA YACHT GT package.
IDEA-SR200
For larger vessels running multiple applications alongside the IDEA suite: Intel Xeon, 64GB memory, 1500GB RAID 5, and full redundancy to minimise the risk of downtime.
Shipped pre-installed with optimised IDEA software and virtualisation enabled.
