Reference build: Digitus passive plus Teltonika edge
Most of our maritime and remote-site deployments come down to the same rack pattern. Standardising it means faster quoting, faster commissioning, and spares that are interchangeable across a fleet.

- Rack
- Digitus 12U/18U, Cat.6A
- Edge
- Teltonika RUTX, dual-SIM
- Delivered
- Pre-built and tested
- Sectors
- Maritime, energy, commercial
The rack
Digitus 12U or 18U wall cabinet, Cat.6A shielded patch panel, brush and cable management, fibre enclosure where a backbone run exists, and a metered PDU.
Everything is terminated, labelled and load-tested before shipping, with an as-built port map delivered alongside the hardware.
The edge
A Teltonika RUTX router terminates cellular with dual-SIM failover and holds the management VPN, so the site is reachable even when the primary link is down.
Switching and Wi-Fi sit behind it, which keeps the out-of-band path independent of the main LAN configuration.
Why it repeats well
One bill of materials, one configuration template, one spares kit. Across a fleet or a portfolio of sites, that is where the operational savings appear.
